Snack Time!

Happy Monday Everyone!!

I just wanted to share one of my favorite sandwiches with you all. If you like bananas (does anyone else have to sing Fergie's song when they spell bananas?) like I do, then I'm sure you'll love it. You simply use peanut butter as your spread (my mom uses miracle whip) and you cut a banana onto the bread. Delicious! Try it and let me know what you think!

 I usually don't do much on the weekends but I'm glad this weekend was an exception! I was honored to get the opportunity to speak at a scholarship banquet. I received this scholarship last year and I was asked to come back and talk to the new recipients. Public speaking makes me completely nervous. BUT since I'm learning to step outside of my comfort zone, I had to do it. In the end it was all good. :)

 



                                       

After the scholarship banquet my sister, my mom, and I went out for some much needed girl time! I absolutely love spending time with them. We ate at a Japanese restaurant, Octopus. The food was delicious! I took a picture of this shrimp because I couldn't believe I ate it in this form. Usually if I see food with the head still on it I cannot eat it at all. But today it went DOWN!
